HOW IT WORKS

Curcuma longa ( Haridra): Turmeric significantly ameliorated food allergic symptoms in a mouse model of food allergy. The turmeric as an anti-allergic agent showed immune regulatory effects through maintaining Th1/Th2 immune balance, whereas curcumin appeared immune suppressive effects. Therefore, we suggest that administration of turmeric including various components may be useful to ameliorate Th2-mediated allergic disorders such as food allergy, atopic dermatitis, and asthma.

Ocimum sanctum: The herb is useful in the treatment of respiratory system disorder. A decoction of the leaves and ginger is an effective remedy for bronchitis, asthma, influenza, cough and cold. A decoction of the leaves, cloves and common salt also gives immediate relief in case of influenza.

Adhatoda vasica: Adhatoda Vasica (also called Vasaka) is used for a cough, asthma, breathing trouble, nasal congestion, allergic conditions, upper respiratory infections. It has mucolytic, expectorant and bronchodilator action, so it is greatly used in respiratory troubles. It relieves a cough, fights off respiratory infections and helps in the management of asthma.
